Embassy of Sweden invites you to a meeting about the unusual and somewhat forgotten history of the “ladies from the Swedish tower”, or telephonists, who were employed in Warsaw by Ericsson at the beginning of the 20th century.

This year, the 11th SHOM International Charity Bazaar will be held at the Mariott Hotel on Sunday, 9th of December. The aim is to collect money to support projects for people in Poland who are in need.

Over 100 thousand poems in more than 200 places will be handed out in Warsaw in April. “Poems in the City” will start already next month. And it will probably be the biggest poetry promoting event in whole Europe.

The grand opening of an exhibition entitled THE ART OF DIPLOMACY, showing talents and creativity of 8 spouses of Ambassadors accredited in Poland, will take place on 23rd April at 6 P.M.

Nordic Talking is an event dedicated to people who share their passion to the Nordic cultures. Our special guests are Poles who live in the Nordic Countries as Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Faroe Islands and are active in social media.

Polish New Music Orchestra has in many years cooperated with an outstanding Danish cellist Jakob Kullberg. This year the musicians will perform in the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo, in Birkerød and at Klang Copenhagen Avantgarde Music Festival.

We invite you to visit the 10th Annual International Charity Bazaar organized by the Spouses of Heads of Mission, which will be held on the 3rd of December from 10am to 5pm in Marriott Hotel in Warsaw. The event will be opened by its honorary patron, the Spouse of the President of the Republic of Poland Mrs. Agata Kornhauser-Duda. 

Nordic Focus Festival in Gdańsk will inspire discussion on the image of the Nordic community depicted in literature, films and TV series.

The nominations for the Nordic Council Film Prize have been announced. The winners will receive their awards on 1st of November, during the Session of the Nordic Council in Helsinki.
