NORDALIA 12.10- 30.10
Scandinavian countries review will be held From 12.10 to 30.10 in many polish cities. This presentation of Scandinavian countries is both for adults and for children. It will be held under the auspices of Norwegian Embassy , Swedish Embassy, Islands honorary Consul and Silesia voivodship Marshall.

We warmly invite all of you, to the Danish Cultural Institute at 7.30 pm, for a screening of a film With Your Permission/ Til døden os skiller, directed by Papriki Steen. The film will be shown with both English and Polish subtitles. Admission is free. The screening is organised in cooperation with the Royal Danish Embassy.

Danish Contemporary dance company Mancopy© Dansekompagni is performing on the 2nd July at Silesian Dance Theatre’s Annual International Contemporary Dance Conference and Performance Festival in Bytom and on the 5th July at Summer Contemporary Dance Forum 2009 in Lublin.
“II Chamber Music Youth Festival” will be held in Konstancin, Jeziorna, from 11th of June till 15th of June. Approximately 100 young musicians from different European countries ( inter alia from Sweden, Finland, Norway) in the age from 11 to 19 will participate in this event.
Festival that is common pedagogues initiative from Konstancin Music School, is also supported by parents and some other institutions. Thanks to this Festival young musicians have got splendid opportunity to meet, get to know better, common play, exchange experience and to show off in front of the bigger audience.
Jens Damkjær Nielsen exhibition

Janina Katz in Warsaw
We kindly invite you to meet Janina Katz the Danish writer of Polish-Jewish origin whose novel Pucka (translated by B.SochaĹ„ska) and poems “Pisane po polsku” (Written in Polish) have brought her the Polish literary magazine ODRA’s award for the best piece of literature in 2008. The meeting will take place at the Danish Cultural Institute
on Thursday the 28th May at 7 pm (the laguage of the meeting will be Polish).

We are inviting everyone to participate in the ”Contemporary Danish movies season” opening on Friday, 22 may, 2009, at 18.45. One of our honour guests will be Danish Ambassador, Mr. Hans Kofoed-Hansen. He will be present during opening ceremony.
Norwegian artists from the theatre troupe Jo Strømgren Kompani from Bergen will perform on Saturday, 25th of April 2009, the during the 44th Festival KONTRAPUNKT. Jo Strømgren Kompani will present a spectacle entitled “ The Convent”.
