On the 28th of November the Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce organized a conference “Scandinavian SWOT”; the event open to Polish companies, looking for further development in the Scandinavian countries.
The aim of the conference was to provide participants with basic information regarding how to do business in Scandinavia.
Invited experts from Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Poland (having vast experience in the above mentioned markets) discussed matters such as:
• current economic development in each of the four countries
• business and cultural differences
• the most important tax and legal issues
• transport and logistics – cooperation possibilities
Each of the four countries – Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden – were presented during simultaneous sessions. Participants had the possibility to acquire new business contacts during the networking sessions at the end of the conference.
- We have observed a growing interest in Scandinavia among Polish entrepreneurs. Our aim iwas to make these countries more accessible to this group – says Agnieszka Kowalcze, Director of the Chamber. – There are several examples of Polish businesses successfully operating in the Nordics, however many businesses still look for information on how to do business in Scandinavia. We get numerous requests regarding this each month – she adds.
We would like to thank you for your presence on behalf of the SWOT Partners & invite you for the next edition in 2014!
