New DSV distribution centre in Wrocław Campus 2

At the beginning of February 2026, DSV – Global Transport and Logistics began operations in a new warehouse in Krzyżowice near Wrocław.

In just three months, specialists from the world’s largest logistics operator launched a distribution center at this location, handling cross-border operations for nearly all of Europe and key marketplaces.

At the facility located in the immediate vicinity of the capital of Lower Silesia, DSV currently operates 45,000 sqm of total space. Within 24,000 sqm, the global leader has designed and implemented comprehensive 3PL (Third Party Logistics) operations for a client from the home appliances sector.

“We are one of the key logistics centers for our client in Europe. As a result, we receive, among other things, sea containers. This means that our employees are responsible not only for unloading but also for sorting products that arrive in bulk,” says Adam Zawadzki, Operations Manager of the warehouse in Krzyżowice, DSV – Global Transport and Logistics. “In Krzyżowice, we provide full-service operations—from inbound goods handling to coordinating shipments to the largest business customers across Europe and to warehouses managed by operators of key eCommerce platforms. To illustrate the scale of operations, we manage the flow of 1,500–2,000 pallets daily.”

The DSV team provides a wide range of value-added services in line with the client’s current needs, including repackaging, palletizing, creating special product bundles, and labeling goods according to the requirements of specific markets. The Danish operator is also responsible for the comprehensive coordination and execution of road transport within distribution operations. In addition to Poland, shipments are dispatched from near Wrocław to customers in Scandinavia, Germany, Austria, the Benelux countries, France, Italy, and Spain, with further destinations planned.

The facility stands out across Europe thanks to its unique solutions. The warehouse uses rarely seen VNA double-deep forklifts with dual forks and dedicated two-level racking systems. This combination has made it possible to double the available storage capacity. Additionally, DSV has designed and implemented a number of extensions to the electronic warehouse management system (WMS).

The success of operations in Krzyżowice is further proof of the attractiveness of western Poland as a location for pan-European distribution centers. In response to growing demand, the Danish logistics operator will manage over 60,000 sqm of modern space as part of the Wrocław Campus 2 project by the end of 2026.

Such rapid launch of a large distribution center, as achieved by DSV, is now a key differentiator in the market. In 2025, demand for warehouse space in Poland remained very high, reaching 6.8 million sqm (of which approximately 48.5% were new leases), while new supply slowed significantly. Only 1.8 million sqm was under construction—the lowest level since 2020. With limited availability of new facilities, the ability to quickly launch operations in a ready, technologically advanced center is becoming a real competitive advantage for logistics operators.
