OX2 has started construction in Poland of the PV LION photovoltaic farm with a capacity of 165 MWp

OX2, a leading developer and producer of renewable energy in Europe and Australia, has begun construction of a 165 MWp photovoltaic farm in the Sława municipality in the Lubuskie Voivodeship. This is OX2’s second and, at the same time, largest solar investment in Poland.
In December 2024, OX2 secured support for this investment through an auction for the sale of electricity from renewable energy sources. The solar farm will be built in the Sława municipality and, once operational, will produce approximately 184 GWh of electricity annually. The photovoltaic plant will supply electricity to around 51,000 households per year.
“The PV LION project will be our largest photovoltaic farm and at the same time one of the largest operating in Poland. OX2’s ambition is to increase access to green energy from various generation sources, and such projects are milestones for Poland’s energy transition. It is also another project that confirms our effectiveness in bringing developments to the construction stage and real execution — especially today, when many projects exist only on paper, without real prospects of being built,” says Tomasz Guzowski, CEO of OX2 Poland.
