The Danish Salling Group, owner of the Netto retail chain among others, ended 2025 with record results. Poland now accounts for nearly one-third of its business. Revenues increased by 15.2%, reaching DKK 83.2 billion, while profit rose by over 17%, to DKK 2 billion.
The growth was driven both by a strong position in the Danish market and expanding international operations, including in Poland, as well as the integration of Rimi Baltic since June 2025.
The Polish market remains one of the pillars of Salling Group’s international expansion. In 2025, Netto Polska opened 20 new stores. At the end of December, the chain had 695 outlets in the country — making Poland the largest market in the entire group in terms of store count.
“We achieved the highest revenue level in our history, amounting to DKK 83.2 billion, and continued to attract more and more customers to our stores. It was the first full year of our new strategic period, and the level of investment was at a record high. The acquisition of Rimi Baltic in June 2025 was an important milestone, but we also opened a large number of stores in Denmark and Poland. The improvement in revenue and profit was mainly driven by markets outside Denmark,” says Anders Hagh, CEO of Salling Group.
