New Scania CNG buses for PKS in Rzeszów. A low-emission investment worth PLN 18.8 million
The CNG-powered vehicles combine low emissions, high capacity, and extensive equipment in terms of comfort and safety and are the fisr Scania Fencer F6 buses in Poland.
10 new Scania Fencer F6 buses have been delivered to Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacji Samochodowej in Rzeszów S.A. The delivery is of particular importance not only for the operator and passengers from south-eastern Poland, but also for the entire public transport market — these are the first Scania Fencer F6 buses in Poland. The CNG-powered vehicles combine low emissions, high capacity, and extensive equipment in terms of comfort and safety.
The buses will be used by PKS in Rzeszów S.A. in daily transport operations, supporting the development of modern and more environmentally friendly public transport in the region.
“We are very pleased that additional Scania vehicles will safely transport passengers in the southern part of Poland. The buses feature very rich standard equipment. The new Scania Fencer F6 models are vehicles designed with safety, accessibility, and comfort in mind, while also ensuring cost efficiency for the operator,” says Artur Wojtowicz, Regional Bus Sales Manager at Scania Polska S.A.
The delivery of buses for PKS in Rzeszów demonstrates that the development of public transport in Poland is increasingly combining two goals: reducing emissions and improving the quality of travel.
For Scania Polska, it is also an important milestone associated with the market debut of the Fencer F6 model in Poland, as well as another project confirming the growing interest in CNG-powered buses.
