Ruukki is celebrating the twentieth anniversary of the start of the tile manufacturing plant in Å»yrardów. Such a anniversary was an excellent opportunity to summarize the highlights of the business in Poland. On June 13, there was a meeting of representatives of the media, as well as employees of the Ruukki Company, combined with a tour of the plant.

"In 1994, we started production of our products in a factory in Å»yrardow. Today we are one of the leading manufacturers of roofing and cladding in Poland. Our products are used not only for the domestic market, but also exported to many countries in Europe" - says Tomasz SoboÅ„, Director of Ruukki'in Å»yrardów.

Ruukki Poland is also heavily involved in pro-social activities. This year Ruukki launched the second edition of social action, "Better a roof over your head," prepared together with the Foundation for Radio ZET. Its purpose is to exchange damaged roofing for the most needy orphanages Family and Foster Families. Ruukki Poland will set up and install the new, robust and durable roofs Finnera.
