Zero carbon footage in steel products – is it possible? What is the future of steel? How will steel products change? We at Ruukki already know it since we are in the middle of revolutionary changes driven by sustainability needs. Starting from 2026, Ruukki will deliver steel construction components made of fossil-free steel that will minimize their carbon footage. It will be possible with SSAB’s HYBRIT project, which introduces a totally new way of steel making process.

20 years Ruukki's plant in Żyrardów

Ruukki is celebrating the twentieth anniversary of the start of the tile manufacturing plant in Żyrardów. Such a anniversary was an excellent opportunity to summarize the highlights of the business in Poland. On June 13, there was a meeting of representatives of the media, as well as employees of the Ruukki Company, combined with a tour of the plant.
