Danish Ambassador vitis to Szczecin

Last week, together with the Polish branch of Coloplast, we had the pleasure of organizing a business meeting in Szczecin, with the participation of Jakob Henningsen, the Ambassador of Denmark, as the guest of honor.
The event was officially opened by Adam Rudawski, West Pomeranian Voivode, Olgierd Geblewicz, Marshal of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, and Renata Polikowska, Managing Director of the Szczecin Metropolitan Development Agency, who read a letter on behalf of Piotr Krzystek, Mayor of Szczecin.
Wojciech Faszczewski, Managing Director of Coloplast, presented the 15-year history of the company’s presence in Szczecin and the significance of the MEDHUB initiative – a medical cluster supporting the development of the medical technology sector in the region.
Lech Gniady and Leif Christiansen, SPCC Board Members, shared key insights from the SPCC report “Danish Companies in Poland”, highlighting the strong presence of Danish businesses in the West Pomeranian region:
Regionally, the highest concentration of Danish investments is found in the voivodeships of: West Pomeranian, Mazovian, Greater Poland, Łódź, and Pomeranian. However, the undisputed leader is the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, where Danish capital accounts for more than half of all foreign capital in the region!
