Trends and Innovations in road and air transport

In cooperation with:

The Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce, together with the Institute of Powertrains and Aviation at the Poznań University of Technology, invites you to a conference focused on the development and future of transport, with particular emphasis on modern solutions in the automotive and aviation sectors.
This event will provide a unique opportunity to engage with representatives from both the scientific and business communities. Together, we will explore the collaboration between various entities in the transport sector, including the role of public-private partnerships. We will also consider which technologies and solutions the economy needs and what science can offer in this regard. Key topics will be at the center of the discussion: hydrogen propulsion, logistics and supply chains, electromobility, and sustainable transport.
There will also be a range of attractions—participants will have the chance to witness a demonstration of a hydrogen-powered engine in operation and take part in a simulated flight in a professional simulator.

The future is here: modern solutions for road transport and logistics
Road transport and logistics have entered the era of smart technology, where automation, digitalisation, and electromobility are no longer visions of the future—they are everyday realities. Modern fleet management systems, autonomous vehicles, and sustainable energy solutions are fundamentally reshaping the way we approach freight transport. Companies that embrace these innovations not only gain a competitive edge but also make a tangible impact on the environment, the climate, and our collective future. What lies ahead for an industry evolving at such a breathtaking pace?
Panelists:
- Dyrektor dr hab. inż. Andrzej Ziółkowski, prof. PP – moderator
- Beata Szymanowska – Transport and Trade Category Manager, H&M Group – Global Logistics
- Piotr Werner – Media Relations, MarCom & Sustainability Director, Volvo Trucks Polska
10:55-11:40
Panel 2
Breakthrough technologies in air transport
Technological developments in aviation are focused on improving fuel efficiency and reducing emissions. This includes innovations such as hydrogen engines, ultralight materials, new aircraft designs, and the digitalisation of operational processes. In the coming years, we can expect the implementation of further breakthroughs that will transform the sector. Could advancements in air transport technologies enhance aviation’s competitiveness compared to road transport?
