DSV AutoStore System presentation

DSV established a multi-client warehouse in Łozienica near Szczecin, equipped with the advanced AutoStore system.
According to data from Statista, by 2028, eCommerce sales in the Nordic markets are expected to reach USD 56.9 billion, while in Germany the figure is forecasted to grow to USD 132 billion.
This is an important insight for Poland, which in recent years has become a key partner for the European eCommerce sector. Many logistics operations supporting the Nordic and German markets are carried out from Poland.
It is no coincidence, then, that DSV – Global Transport and Logistics – established a multi-client warehouse in Łozienica near Szczecin, equipped with the advanced AutoStore system.
Just a few days ago, members of SPCC had the opportunity to take part in a study visit to this modern logistics center and learn more about how the AutoStore system works.
With 60 robots and over 100,000 bins, the scale and efficiency of the system made a huge impression on the participants. They were able to explore not only the technical aspects of its operation, but also the real benefits of implementing such solutions in daily logistics processes.
The meeting was an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss logistics automation, warehouse operations optimization, and to get familiar with the real-life implementation of new technologies. The AutoStore system at DSV was developed primarily with the needs of the e-commerce industry in mind. It is a prime example of advanced warehouse management that ensures maximum space utilization and accelerates order fulfillment.
