Nordics among most globally sustainable countries 16-12-2016

Sweden has been ranked first, Norway second, Finland third, Denmark fourth and Iceland sixth overall in this year’s Global Sustainable Competitiveness Index.

Altogether, the index evaluated 180 countries across their natural capital, resource intensity, intellectual capital, social cohesion and governance. Each nation’s final ranking reflects its capability for generating and/or sustaining income and wealth for its population.

The index was compiled by Swiss-Korean sustainability think-tank and advisory SolAbility.

Yemen took the last position in this year ranking.
