Polish Central Statistical Office has published the latest trade data between Poland and Norway.
According to the preliminary Polish Central Statistical Office data, in January-July 2016 value of Polish exports was by 1.1% higher on a yearly basis and amounted to EUR 104,694bn. In the same time imports decreased by 1.4% and recorded EUR 100,357bn, so the trade balance shaped at EUR 4,337bn.
Trade turnover between Poland and Norway dropped by 5.5% yoy and amounted to EUR 2,324bn in January-July 2016. Polish exports decreased by 4.6% to EUR 1,325bn, when imports by 6.6% to EUR 0,998bn. As a result, trade balance improved to the level of EUR 0,327bn.
Among main trading groups with the biggest share in total exports:
- Vehicles, Spaceships, Vessels (share of 38.3%) – CN code XVII – exports value drop by 14.0% yoy,
- Base metals products (share of 13.2%) – CN code XV – drop by 10.3%,
- Mechanic and electric equipment, to recording and reception of sound (share of 9.8%) – CN code XVI – drop by 23.4% yoy,
Among main trading groups with the biggest share in total imports:
- Live animals; animal products (share of 45.0%) – CN code I – imports value growth by 26.3% yoy,
- Base metals products (share of 25.8%) – CN code XV – growth by 1.7% yoy.
- Vehicles, Spaceships, Vessels (share of 11.1%) – CN code XVII – drop by 36.5% yoy.
