The UN 2016 World Happiness Report: Scandinavians among the happiest nations in the world 17-03-2016

In a global ranking of happiness, Denmark was again deemed the happiest country in the world, closely followed by Switzerland, Iceland, Norway and Finland.
 
The 2016 World Happiness Report is the fourth annual report seeking to quantify happiness as a means of influencing government policy. The United Nations published the first study in 2012.
  
Canada, the Netherlands,New Zealand, Australia and Sweden round out the top ten in this year’s report, making small or medium-sized countries in Western Europe seven of the top ten happiest countries.
