The total turnover in retail sales in Norway in January and February this year was more than NOK 65 billion, or 2.8 per cent up compared to the same period the year before.

Internet stores had an increase of 13 per cent compared to the first two months last year. By comparison, the Index of retail sales also showed an increase of 2.8 per cent during the same period

Sales and repair of motor vehicles totalled NOK 32 billion in the first two months of 2015; a growth of 2.8 per cent compared to the same period in 2014.

The turnover in wholesale was NOK 132 billion in January and February this year. This is an increase of 1.5 per cent from the same period last year.
