Norway is contributing NOK 40 million in emergency aid to Eastern Ukraine. Foreign Minister Børge Brende says the humantarian crisis there is the greatest in Europe since the war in the Balkans.

Brende arrived in Kharkov in Eastern Ukraine Sunday evening, to observe for himself the humanitarian consequences on the country from the war.
