Danish export of green energy technology sets new record 13-05-2015

According to new 2014 export figures for energy technology released by the Danish Ministry of Climate, Energy and Building, DI Energy and the Danish Energy Association, Danish businesses producing energy technology last year exported more than ever before. Export of Danish green energy technology grew by an impressive 15.4% in 2014.

Investors in green technology in Denmark are benefitting from a record high increase in exports. While Danish exports in general only grew by a modest 0.6% in 2014, export of green energy technology grew by 15.4%. The total Danish energy export is now more than 10 billion Euro and now constitute 12% of total Danish exports.

For foreign investors this proves that Denmark is worth considering as location for their investment. Not only is Denmark a leading country in developing new green technology solutions, it is also a major platform for reaching other markets through exports.
