Scandinavian countries rank high in studies on women’s working life 6-03-2015

Scandinavian countries are at the top of list in a study on working life in OECD countries, according to the latest PwC Women in Work index.
The list ranks 27 developed countries according to various measures, including women’s equality of earnings with men, the proportion of women in work, the unemployment rate for women and the proportion of women in full-time employment.

Topping the list is Norway, followed by Denmark and Sweden. Ranking in between Sweden and Finland is New Zealand. The index compares the working life of the countries since 2011, and each of the top five countries has retained its position for three years.

PwC’s analysis is based on 2012 data from the OECD and Eurostat.
