Internet sales in Norway up in 2014 2-03-2015

Internet sales in Norway up 17.8 percent in the 5th term in 2014 compared with the same period last year.

Turnover for the period was for Internet 2.5 billion, 375 million Norwegian kroner more than the same period in 2013.Grocery stores sold on its side for 26.3 billion, a growth of almost 1.5 billion or 5.9 percent up from the previous year, according to figures from Statistics Norway.

Retail businesses in Norway had a turnover of 360 billion over the first ten months of 2014, an increase of 3.5 percent from the year before. Also sale and maintenance of motor vehicles increased by 5.6 billion over the first ten months of 2014 - a growth of 3.3 percent from the same period in 2013.Wholesale trade turnover of close to 718 billion over the first ten months in 2014.
