Finland first in wireless networks 4-08-2014

According to the OECD report, Finns have an average of 1.23 mobile devices per person. Finland has placed first in wireless broadband connections per capita in the world in a report released by the OECD. After Finland came Australia, Japan, and Sweden. The report compared 34 countries around the world.

The study analysed data from last December and concluded that Finland had a mobile connection penetration rate of 123 percent. This means that for every person, there are 1.23 connected mobile devices. A total of seven countries had a rate above 100 percent, even though two years ago the only country to reach the number was South Korea. The average value for all countries in the study was 72 percent.
