It has not been as safe as it is at present to be an airline passenger in Norway since 1970, says senior advisor Eirik Svare in the analytics department at the Civil Aviation Authority.
No passengers or crew members were hurt during a flight in Norway or with a Norwegian airline abroad last year.
"This is very impressive when you consider that close to 50 million passengers were transported in 2013," Svare tells NRK.
