2013 was a record-year for Norwegian seafood exports at NOK 60,4 billion, an increase of 18,8 percent. The value of last year’s seafood exports is 13 per cent higher than the previous record of NOK 53.8 billion (USD 8.7 billion) set in 2010.

The total Norwegian export fell by 3,8 percent.
Imports reached an all-time, and Norway imported goods for a total of NOK 529,2 billion. But in spite of the increase in imports, the total export accounted for NOK 899,7 billion, giving Norway a total profit NOK 370,5 billion.
