Women and Men in Finland 2014 23-07-2014

In 2012, 69 percent of Finnish women aged 15 or over and 68 per cent of men had completed some post-comprehensive level qualification. Thirty-seven per cent of women and 43 per cent of men had completed upper secondary level qualifications. Thirty-two per cent of women and 25 per cent of men had tertiary level qualifications.

In 2012, 18 per cent of female employees were in a fixed-term employment relationship and 20 per cent had a part-time employment relationship. Thirteen per cent of male employees had a fixed-term employment relationship and nine per cent had a part-time job.
