Skanska receives two awards at the 9th CEEQA Industry Awards Gala.

During the CEEQA 2012 Industry Awards Gala, which took place on 17 April 2012 at the Warsaw Marriott Hotel, Skanska Commercial Development Europe was awarded twice – the company received the Green Leadership Award and the title of the RealGreen Developer of the Year. Awards in the RealGreen category for outstanding business performance and achievement in the field of sustainable construction were presented for the first time this year. Skanska was recognised for its commitment to develop new projects according to the principles of sustainable development, as well as promoting the idea of green construction in Central and Eastern Europe.

“We are very proud that we have been recognised as the green business leader for the second time in a row. All our projects are future-proof, which means that both the construction process and project performance have a minimal impact on the natural environment. With our 7 on-going projects in the CEE region we will soon deliver a total of 150,000 sqm of green office space,” said Nicklas Lindberg, President of Skanska Commercial Development Europe.
