Medicover expanded its offer to date for individual customers, proposing a further solution in medical care, this time dedicated to families.
“Standard Family Care” is an offer addressed to families who up till now could not afford a private medical care offer, or were not interested in it as they thought that the health condition of family members did not require that. The new proposal ensures everyday health security and access to specialists from 195 PLN per month. The package price is fixed, regardless of how many members of the family are covered by the care programme.

“We have prepared our new offer with families in mind, who are interested in top quality medical care, but who simultaneously do not want to or cannot incur high costs. Due to introduction of limits on medical consultations specified at the level of their average use by Medicover patients, have enabled us to propose an exceptionally attractive price for health care - the contribution for the whole family is just 195 zlotys per month. This price remains unchanged regardless of the number of people covered, which, in practice, promotes multiple-children families,” says John Stubbington, Chief Operations Officer of the Medicover Group.

Within the offer, the family is guaranteed consultations of primary health care doctors (internal medicine doctor, paediatrician), home visits (total of four per year per person) and consultations of a wide range of medical specialists (a total of four per year per person). It may also benefit from the consultations and basic nursing treatment, basic laboratory tests and ECG, as well as influenza vaccinations. It also includes an emergency service and 24-hour medical advice by telephone through the Medicover Hot Line. Within the offer, the members of the insured family additionally receive discounts on the services not covered by the scope of the programme, provided by the Medicover Centres and the Medicover Hospital. They are also included in the “Patient-Centred Care” programme which enables them to select their personal physician. Moreover, they receive access to a secure Internet application, Medicover Online, which enables them to make their appointments, learn about their test results, ask questions after a completed appointment, as well as order prescriptions.

Services for families are available not only at the Medicover centres and the Damian Medical Centre, but also in more than a thousand cooperating facilities located throughout the country.
