IKEA Retail sp. z o.o. : „1 Euro is a Fortune”- Plush toys for Education

Christmas is coming, and together with them, IKEA campaign “ 1 Euro is a fortune”.
In the period from 2.11.2011 to 24.12.2011, from the sale of each book for children, each plush toy and children meal offered in IKEA restaurant, the IKEA Foundation will give 1 Euro to support  educational programs conducted worldwide by UNICEF and Save The Children.

From the very beginning of the campaign, which took place in 2003, IKEA has given over 35 million Euros. These funds supported 95 programs, in 45 countries, on 3 continents and ensure8 million children an access to quality education.  This year IKEA plans to aim 12 million Euro.

“When you buy a plush toy for a child you love, you may help another child to get an education. It is an opportunity to involve 626 million people visiting IKEA stores  around the world, while increasing customer and employee awareness of how education can change the lives of children.
