Group of employees from the Rezidor Hotel Group in Poland will take part in this year's Warsaw Marathon, which will take place on September 25th. These amateur runners decided not only to complete the marathon, but also to collect 5000 PLN. This money will help to fulfill the dreams of seriously ill children from the “Mam Marzenie” Foundation.

“We are a group of friends who share a common passion - running. We all work in various positions in Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson hotels in Szczecin, Gdansk, Krakow, Wroclaw and Warsaw. This year we decided to use our passion to help kids from the ‘Mam Marzenie’ Foundation” - says Krzysztof Wieslaw, Regional Controller Poland SE Europe, the initiator of the action. “We will run in the 33-th Warsaw Marathon, we will complete it and collect 5000 Pln for kids. That is our goal! We run not only for the result, but primarily to collect money and help to fulfill the dreams of seriously ill children” – he adds.
Eight employees working in various positions in hotels of the Rezidor Hotel Group are running in the marathon. Here they are:
Initiator and organizer of the action Krzysztof Wieslaw, for nine years linked to the Rezidor Group, actually at the position of Regional Controller Poland and SE Europe. Wojtek Liszka associated with the Rezidor Hotel Group in Poland since 2004. Since September 2008 acting Sales & Marketing Director at Radisson Blu Hotel Krakow. Andrzej Lejman, Executive Chef at the Radisson Blu in Gdansk.  Krzysztof Wozniczko represents the Conference Department at the Radisson Blu Hotel Wroclaw. Mariusz Konieczny from Technical Department at the Park Inn by Radisson hotel in Krakow. The only woman in the team is Agata Dobrowolska – M&E employee at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Wroclaw.  Radisson Blu Szczecin is represented by Marek Ćwiek - Financial Controller and Pawel Pluto-PrÄ…dziÅ„ski, dedicated marathoner for many years and also football referee.

September, as every year is the month in which all the Rezidor Group hotels take special actions which are part of  "Responsible Business" CSR program. This year the motto is held under the common banner "Hotels with a heart". The idea of joining the 33-th Warsaw Marathon is part of planned actions during "Responsible Business Action Month", which are focused on supporting local communities.
