Conference "Confidentiality vs. Transparency in International Arbitration" is organized by the Centre for Amicable Dispute Settlement at the University of Warsaw, in cooperation with the Young Arbitration Practitioners in Poland (YAPP).

At this conference, speakers from five countries will discuss the two opposite trends in international arbitration: confidentiality and transparency. Individual presentations at the conference include such issues as e.g. the evolution of the notion of confidentiality in international arbitration, the need for new regulations and global ethical standards in different types of arbitral proceedings, heterogeneous approaches to confidentiality in different jurisdictions, current regulatory tendencies, available remedies, etc.
