This year, on January 4th, Businessman Institute in Warsaw hosted the award ceremony of the 5th edition of the prestigious competition “Diament Meblarstwa” (The Diamond of Furniture).

Kinnarps products were awarded in as many as 3 categories.
The jury awarded Kinnarps products in the following categories: contract furniture, upholstered furniture and design. Le Mur sofa turned out to be the winner in the first category and Bone armchair was awarded in the category of upholstered furniture and design. Additionally, the often-awarded Subway magazine holder, designed by Thomas Bernstrand, was also awarded this time – in the category ‘various furniture’ .
From among almost 50 companies that participated in the competition and entered over 100 products, the jury, consisting of many representatives of furniture stores, furniture production accessories and semi-finished products wholesale outlets, research institutes associated with furniture business, as well as of interior architects and designers, chose the best products available on the Polish market.
The organizers of the competition say that “the awards and prizes awarded to the competitors prove the excellence of the design and originality of their products, confirm the distinctiveness of their manufacturer image and attest the fact that the brands are able to win the acclaim of both clients and experts”. 
Moreover, during the award ceremony the representatives of Ewa BÅ‚aszczyk’s „Akogo?” foundation received a symbolic cheque.
