In line with both our firm’s development strategy and client expectations, DZP has expanded its offer to include tax advisory. On 4 May our team of partners was joined by two prominent tax experts, Joanna Wierzejska and Artur Nowak, both of whom gained their experience working for international advisory firms. They have also brought their teams with them to DZP.

Joanna Wierzejska specialises in full-range tax services for clients with special focus on mergers and acquisitions. She will also head the Tax Team.

Artur Nowak is an expert in tax problems, especially in tax and customs law litigation.

In this age of fierce competition and fast information flow, our priority is to offer our clients legal solutions that enable them to achieve both their business and financial objectives. What this means in practice is providing legal services that offer optimum solutions – from a tax perspective as well – said Krzysztof Zakrzewski, Managing Partner in DZP. This was why we decided to expand our team by creating a professional, multidisciplinary tax team to complement our legal advisory team.

The Tax Team is composed of experts with qualifications in both law and economics who gained their experience in international advisory firms. The team partners are prominent specialists in transaction advisory and in tax and customs law litigation. The other team members are tax advisers with wide experience in mergers and acquisitions, VAT, excise, tax and customs proceedings and real estate tax.
