The electrical installation company BIC Electric has changed track due to the economic recession in Denmark, which is especially affecting the building industry, and is now looking for customers and projects in the other Scandinavian countries.
BIC Electric has achieved electrical certification in both Norway and Sweden which makes it ready to bid on tenders for electrical installation jobs in these countries. The company has already initiated some marketing activities in the countries as well.
“Many Danish companies disregard our Nordic neighbours as potential export markets, but we have got a range of good contacts, and we believe there will be jobs for us”, says Managing Director of BIC Electric, Jens-Chr. Møller.
With the new certifications, BIC Electric is now a certified electrical company in four countries, since the primary focus of the company so far has been Denmark and Poland.
Furthermore, the company has qualified for the Achilles supplier’s databases for the building industry, utilities and the offshore business in Scandinavia to be able to work as a subcontractor for some of the major players in the market.
