Rohlig Suus Logistics: SUUS has launched a new purchasing platform
27-06-2024Rohlig SUUS Logistics has launched a virtual purchasing platform. It will facilitate the management of the entire purchasing process, improve its efficiency and improve communication with SUUS business partners in the field of product and service delivery. In addition, the tool will increase the transparency of the process and allow for efficient verification of suppliers, which is part of the activities of the largest Polish operator in the ESG area.
SUUS purchasing platform is an innovative and dedicated solution supporting the purchasing process at every stage. It enables the publication of inquiries, submitting proposals by business partners and conducting negotiations, also with the help of electronic auctions. It also allows you to monitor, report and analyze almost all data on purchasing processes. Both SUUS employees and business partners invited to the tender procedure have access to it, which is why it is also a communication tool between them.
– As part of the transformation of purchasing processes, we resign from administrative order handling and move to a higher strategic level, that is, management of purchasing categories depending on the complexity of the market and the criticality of purchase. The platform allows us to unify, simplify and speed up the purchasing process, which has a real impact on increasing our efficiency and optimizing costs. Thanks to the new tool, we are also able to significantly increase the competitiveness and reliability of our supply chain. The implementation of the purchasing platform is part of SUUS's activities in the area of sustainable development, in the aspect of corporate governance. The tool increases the transparency of the process and also allows for efficient verification of contractors of the logistics operator in terms of compliance with the Code of Conduct for Business Partners of the ROHLIG SUUS Group, including. in the area of business ethics or pro-environmental activities. In the ESG strategy, SUUS has set the goal of verifying all its business partners by 2025.

The project was created in cooperation with the consulting company PROFITIA Management Consultants, which supported Rohlig SUUS Logistics in developing the platform specification, the process of selecting and implementing the tool.
