Changes in the Management Board of ISS Poland & Baltics. Karolina Whilde appointed Country Manager, Maciej WÄ…sek promoted to CFO Northern Europe
ISS, a leading workplace and facility management company, is pleased to announce, Karolina Whilde has been appointed Country Manager for Poland & Baltics. Maciej WÄ…sek, until now responsible for ISS' business in this region, has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer Northern Europe

Karolina Whilde, previously responsible for one of ISS' global key accounts in the banking sector, will fully take over her new role by 1st August 2023. Until then, Maciej WÄ…sek will remain responsible for the business in Poland and the Baltics, while also serving as Chief Financial Officer Northern Europe at ISS.

I believe Karolina will further expand our services in this region. Poland and Baltics is part of the ISS Northern Europe region, a key area for the entire Group. The company's ambition, as formulated in its OneISS strategy, is to become the global leader in Integrated Facility Services (IFS), based on an operating model focused on core services i.e. Cleaning, Technical, Food and Workplace, and targeting the needs of clients in office- and industry-based segments.

We implemented systems and solutions based on IoT and automation, both in the office- and industry-based segment. I believe that Karolina's appointment, is a new chapter in the company's history in this region. For me, too, it is a new stage, which I continue in the role of CFO within ISS Group, being responsible for financial results in Northern Europe, including Poland" – said Maciej WÄ…sek, CFO Northern Europe at ISS.

Karolina Whilde has been working in the facility management and commercial real estate industry for more than 15 years. She joined ISS in 2020 to lead a team of several hundred placemakers across many countries for a global banking client. During her tenure she developed a relationship with the client and transformed the service delivery on the account. She has extensive experience having worked for brands such as Rolls Royce and Aramark across Europe, Middle East and Africa, as well as guiding organizations through periods of strategic change and continuous improvement programmes.

Maciej WÄ…sek has been with ISS since 2007. Over the course of several years, he has held the positions of CFO and COO, and as of 2019 – Country Manager Poland & Baltics. He led the implementation of new services in the areas of Workplace Management, Capital Projects, as well as the development of ISS' offerings in technology solutions and innovation. In just a few years in the role of Country Manager, he transformed the organization and expanded ISS' portfolio of key clients in prioritised segments (office and industry), resulting in the company's serviced space exceeding 3 million square meters.
