During its annual award ceremony in Mauritius on October 9, the international chapter honored the Radisson Collection Hotel, Warsaw with a statuette in the regional Luxury City Hotel category. An international jury selected the winners from among the sites that received the most votes in an online poll from August 2 to August 22. Marco Eichhorn, the General Manager of Radisson Collection Hotel, Warsaw, received the award.

Established in 2006, the World Luxury Hotel Award offers international recognition as voted by guests, travelers and industry players alike. Over 300,000 international travelers vote each year during a four-week period to select the winners in over 100 different categories. Awards are presented on a country, regional, continent and global basis. Winners are selected by public vote online, providing recognition that reflects the hard work and dedication exhibited by staff.
