“Pole and Hungarian brothers be – unknown stories of the brothers”, or what you do not know about the relations between our countries.


To be discussed:

1. Why did Franz Liszt have a bone to pick with Chopin?
2. Why did the inhabitants of Podkowa Leśna take to Hungarians?
3. Who was the woman who broke the hearts of the most famous romantics from both countries?
4. And a daring idea of a Hungarian researcher who left his heart in Warsaw and his body in Starobilsk.

The meeting will be hosted by Hanna DzieliĹ„ska – a journalist, Warsaw guide, author of online intercity (quarantine) walks, books on culture and the city, as well as a populariser of culture and art. Hania is also involved in keeping cultural and artistic life vibrant and alive – she organizes the production of documentaries and reportages and cooperates with districts and cultural institutions in the creation of historical publications. Hania has also led the scientific club of History of Art Students and has published her own series of adventure games for children and adults.

The meeting will be held in Polish.
