IKEA Retail sp. z o.o. : 60 years of IKEA in Poland!

Exactly 60 years ago, on January 27th, 1961, IKEA placed the first order for a set of furniture from Poland.
The order concerned 500 ÖGLA chairs made of beech wood manufactured in the Bentwood Furniture Factory in Radomsko. Poland became the first country after Sweden to produce furniture for IKEA.
