30-04-2018

The Danish DSV corporation commences the construction of an office building in Warsaw, which is the result of systematic expansion of the company's teams under the Shared Service Center. A modern Scandinavian style building that will accommodate over 1.5 thousand employees is to be ready in the first quarter of 2020.

DSV is one of the world's leading companies from the TSL sector (Transport, Shipping, Logistics), operating in over 80 countries, on six continents. Located in Warsaw, DSV International Shared Services provides global business services for the DSV Group in the world and local DSV services in the country. Currently, the company employs over 800 people in Warsaw, and in connection with new projects and processes, intensively recruits new employees.

- DSV ISS is growing dynamically. Each month we employ several dozen new people, which is the result of, among others, the increasingly broad scope of our company's competences. We are favored by the very good position of DSV in the world, combined with a growing understanding and use of support, which we can guarantee as an International Shared Service Center. All this translates into our success, says Thomas Jansson, President of the Management Board of DSV ISS. - We are starting the construction of our new location, which will give us space for further growth, and will be a visible confirmation of our achievements.

The new DSV office building, located at the corner of Taśmowa and Marynarska streets, will be maintained in the Scandinavian style, and materials and design will correspond with the style of the headquarters of the DSV Group in Denmark. The author of the concept of the building is the world-famous Danish office PLH Arkitekter A/S. A seven-storey class A office building with an area of over 30,000 sqm. will provide comfortable working conditions for over 1.5 thousand employees. The priority is to create excellent working conditions and modernity and functionality of the project. The selected location will also enable convenient access from various parts of the city and its suburbs as well as quick access to the airport.

- Before starting the design of the new headquarters, we conducted a survey among our teams to find out how we can adapt the new facility to their needs and expectations - emphasizes Marcin Zarzycki, Project Manager at DSV ISS. - We involve employees in the office construction project, because we want to be sure that the building will be not only an attractive, distinctive building in Warsaw's Mokotów, but also an attractive place to work.

The office building will be built by the Consortium of FineTech Construction and Fundamental Group companies. The project manager on behalf of DSV is Portico Project Management. The completion of the investment is planned for the beginning of 2020.
