On Friday, December 1, 2017, the ceremonial completion of the investment in the ecological heating installation took place in the VELUX factory of windows and collars in NamysÅ‚ów. The new heat energy production system will significantly improve the energy efficiency of the factory, and thanks to this the plant will reduce its own natural gas consumption by 80%.

The total value of the investment is approx. PLN 7 million. The launch of a modern installation is an important step in improving the energy efficiency of the plant, as well as an example of implementing the assumptions of the circular economy and the implementation of a global strategy to reduce own CO2 emissions in the VELUX Group.
