Volvo Polska was among the top ten employers in the TOP Employer in Poland competition run by the PulsHR.pl portal. Model management of human resources and significant influence on the economic development of the region and the country are the main criteria for the selection of TOP 10 Employers of Poland.

The purpose of the TOP Employer competition in Poland is to identify distinguished companies that play an important role in the labor market and thus contribute to the development of the environment in which they operate.

The assessment of the companies entered into the competition included: impact on the economic development of the region and on the development of the labor market, innovation, relations between employers and employees, and cooperation with the local community.

Volvo Poland has been honored for its good practice in personnel policy, for its activities in the area of ​​employer branding, as well as for initiatives related to social responsibility: the use of green energy, the promotion of honorary blood donations and first aid, and the organization of volunteer work programs.

The winners were awarded during the accompanying conference and the PulsHR_Day fair held on November 15th. at the International Congress Center in Katowice. On behalf of Volvo Poland, the award was received by Bożena Michońska - Vice President of Personnel and Volvo Polska Expertise Center.

Volvo Poland employs over 3,000 employees and is a leading employer in the city and in the region, honored with the best employer award. In 2017, Volvo Polska received the Top Employer Award from Top Employers Institute for those employers who demonstrate that they meet the highest international human resource management standards. Volvo Polska was also second in the list of the 10 most attractive employers in the Randstad survey in 2017 and the third in the Antal survey "Most desirable employers in the opinion of professionals and managers" in the automotive category.

Apart from Volvo Poland, Top 10 Polish Employers also included Capgemini, Siemens, Budimex, Kompania Piwowarska, CD Projekt, 3M, Nowy Styl Group, PwC, Asseco.
