During the 6th Congress of Public Transport in Warsaw, Volvo presented three electrically-powered city buses - two hybrid buses and an innovative electric hybrid.

Hybrid buses shown at the Congress of Public Transport are vehicles used by City Buses in Warsaw (short bus, 12 meters) and Municipal Transport Company in Sosnowiec (articulated bus, 18 meters).

Volvo also presented the so-called electric hybrid bus. Buses with this type of propulsion differ from the “traditional” hybrids in that they use electric power on the most part of their routes.
