Ericsson: expands R&D Center in Poland with new offices in Kraków and Łódź

Just opened new office in Kraków will accommodate new employees, as well as other R&D offices located in Kraków. Ericsson in Poland is going to hire over 300 new employees at Polish R&D centers in Łódź and Kraków. The comapny is looking for software developers, system architects, testers, managers, product owners and experienced project/people managers.

"Development of R&D Center in Poland is very important to us for strategic reasons. It is a consequence of previous global company decisions. Currently we will employ over 300 new experts. We are opening new offices and expanding our business. The launch of our new office in Krakow was celebrated with employees and their families. Open spaces inspire team work with focus on collaboration and innovation" – said Birgitta Finnander, Head of R&D Center in Poland.

Ericsson Poland is one of the most active promoters of 5G technology. With development in this area it opens up for experienced developers with several years of experience in C ++, JAVA and .NET technologies, encouraging them to use their existing knowledge and experience in building innovative technology solutions. The engineers will be responsible for the development of telecommunications products (2G / 3G / 4G / 5G).

Preparation for 5G also entails the consolidation of cooperation within technical universities. The examples of active involvement into innovative visibility at universities is Ericsson's collaboration with AGH students during the AGH Solar Boat project and signed letter of intent "5G Autonomous IoT slices" with the Warsaw University of Technology.
