Monitor ERP System Polska Sp. z o.o.: Digital leap to productivity

26-10-2016

Digital revolution involving dissemination of new technologies in all areas of economy is also gradually encompassing Polish industry. Implementation of IT solutions is on a rise in manufacturing companies, with a significant impact on business productivity. The concept of Industry 4.0, already proven successful in Western Europe and the U.S, makes the manufacturers increasingly rely on automation, supply chain communication, and better use of data to improve process efficiency.

A study by Forbes indicates that increasing productivity is the number one opportunity for Polish economy. This applies to all its sectors, but in particular to manufacturing, mining and energy industries. Another challenge is to improve the position of Polish businesses in the supply chain. Is the use of technology the answer to problems facing companies that have to shorten the distance to the manufacturers in other geographic markets? The technological progress has changed the approach to information. Systems for data collection, processing and exchange significantly affect current business operations, from the production line to warehousing, delivery, communication with contractors, and customer service.

The aim of the “Digital leap to productivity” meeting is to develop the best business practices that bring a real improvement in business performance and enable further expansion into new markets by digitization of processes. During the event, examples of Polish companies that have been successfully using digital tools to optimize their business will be presented. The meeting is aimed at business managers and staff responsible for managing key areas of a manufacturing company (manufacturing, logistics, sales, quality control, and development processes).

Guests will be able to learn more about the solutions used in HANZA Electronics and Klippan Safety, Polish manufacturing plants. Managers from the two companies will talk about how they build competitive advantage and how modern technologies improve their productivity. They will also explain how their companies’ operations have changed following the introduction of integrated management systems.
