On the 20th of September a formal signing took place, between Volvo Bus Corporation and Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacji Miejskiej of Sosnowiec, for the delivery of 35 Volvo Hybrid Buses.

This contract embraces the production and the delivery of 35 new, low-floor buses with hybrid drive. Those include 25 Volvo 7900 Hybrid buses measuring from 11,8 to 12,15 meters in length, and 10 articulated Volvo 7900 Hybrid buses measuring from 17,5 to 18,75 meters in length.

Vehicles will be produced at WrocÅ‚aw’s Volvo factory, and handing them over to PKM Sosnowiec is set till the late September 2017.

Buses are meant to serve as public transportation, and will be running 67 different courses serviced by PKM Sosnowiec, as commissioned by the Komunikacyjny ZwiÄ…zek Komunalnego GórnoÅ›lÄ…skiego OkrÄ™gu PrzemysÅ‚owego.
