Ericsson: invites you to the conference "Technology and consumer trends in Warsaw and worldwide"

University of Warsaw and  Ericsson in Poland cordially invite you to the conference which will reveal social readiness for using future technologies and possible applications of the upcoming 5G revolution.

 

The event will take place on June 17th, 11.00 - 14.00 at the historical campus of the University of Warsaw, in Kazimierzowski Palace, at the Academic Senate.

Conference will be held in English.

 

Ericsson’s presentations introduce us to the results of global research based on consumer opinions about changes in  technology, main concerns and ways of technology introduction into daily and business life. Warsaw University report will reveal which Polish sectors will get the most benefits from the 5G technological opportunities. This is the second time when the University and our company teamed up to provide unique insights about technology usage in Poland.

Anna Giza-Poleszczuk

Prof. Anna Giza-Poleszczuk– Vice-Rector of the University of Warsaw for Development and Financial Policy, sociologist nad research fellow with more than ten years of business experience. Awarded book author & supervisor of many research projects made for public institutions and NGO's

 

Michael Björn

Michael Björn is Head of Research at Ericsson ConsumerLab, studying the propagation of influence between groups of consumers and between markets, as well as the process of assimilation of ICT into everyday consumer life.  Michael joined Ericsson in 1997 as an analyst, after he completed his PhD in data modeling at University of Tsukuba in Japan.  He is also an Adjunct professor at the Lund University School of Economics and Management. Michael Björn has been driving Ericsson ConsumerLab’s annual 10 Hot Consumer Trends reports since 2011.

 

Emil Kamiński

Emil KamiĹ„ski holds a position of Automation & Innovation Manager at Ericsson, introducing emerging IT solutions to service delivery organization. He is fully responsible for investigating world’s technological trends, identifying coming opportunities as well as running prototyping / proof of concepts. Emil empowers 80k+ people, multiple vendors and generates value for hundreds customers around the world.
