Skanska Property Poland: expands its business in Poland and appoints new Leasing Director
8-03-2016
. . Entering the Tri-City market and further development in Warsaw in locations outside the city center – these are the two directions for Skanska Property Poland in the upcoming years. Due to the company’s growth on the Polish market, the unit also enhances its teams. Since 1st March 2016, Ewelina Kałużna will be the new Leasing and Asset Director and a member of a team managing the unit. |
.
Developing the strategy and changes within the organizational structure of the unit are a consequence of Skanska Property Poland’s excellent results in Warsaw and regional cities in recent years.
.
“Our success in regional cities such as Krakow, Wroclaw, Lodz, Poznan and Katowice encouraged us to make a decision to develop a project on the Tri-City market. We purchased a plot of land in Gdansk and we have long-term investment plans in the city. During the negotiations with our clients we recognize a constant interest in locations outside the strict business center of Warsaw. Therefore, we are planning to launch our first project in a location outside the strict CBD this year”, says Arkadiusz Rudzki, Managing Director at Skanska Property Poland.
.
The extension of our business strategy by new markets is related to the organizational changes within the unit. An important change in the structure of Skanska Property Poland is the appointment of a new Leasing & Asset Director. Arkadiusz Rudzki will be replaced by Ewelina Kałużna who will be responsible for the development of the company’s strategy in reference to leasing and asset management of the real estate provided by Skanska Property Poland. Ewelina Kałużna has over 10 years of experience on the commercial real estate industry gained through working with international advisory agencies. Prior to joining Skanska, she was the head of a team responsible for developing complex commercialization strategies for office buildings at Colliers International. Earlier, she gained experience in JLL agency.
.
Due to dynamical development of Skanska’s office business in Poland and the need of broader specialization on particular markets, the teams developing office projects in Poland are working divided in three regions. Regional Director for Region North including Lodz, Poznan and Tri-City is Łukasz Kaleciński. Regional Director responsible for the Warsaw market is Krzysztof Wilczek. Region South including cities such as Krakow, Wroclaw and Katowice is still managed by Mariusz Krzak.
.
Skanska’s Leasing Team will also be adjusted to the need of regions. Two new positions have been created in the Southern part: Marek Stasieńko has been appointed as Regional Leasing Director while Magdalena Holak is Leasing Business Development Manager. Furthermore, as from 1st of March 2016, Agnieszka Krawczyk-Rogowska will be the Leasing Manager for Region Central, in Warsaw.
.
“Thanks to the expansion of the organizational structure of Skanska Property Poland, we are able to focus more on greater specialization of the leasing team, which will allow us to be even closer to the clients and build long-term relationships with them”, claims Arkadiusz Rudzki.
.
The unit’s Management Board was joined by Anna Marciniak, who was promoted to the newly-established position of HR & Administration Manager and joined the managing team as a representative of its HR Department.
.
“The joining of a HR expert into the unit’s Management Board indicates Skanska’s strong development towards personal policies and the value of people. We want our business decisions to be made with people taken into account. All our projects are developed for the people including the employees of our tenants. HR gives us a more personal and closer look into business”, adds Arkadiusz Rudzki.
