The sister firm of Peter Nielsen & Partners Law Office (PNP) in Denmark – Tærø Nielsen & Hulgaard Advokater (TNH) won the third place in the innovation contest of the Danish Law Society which was held first time ever. The committee was presided over by Mr. Jørgen Mads Clausen, CEO of Danfoss. The other members were lawyers.

The award winning project is called “Vækst, Strategi, Markedsføring” (Growth, Strategy, Marketing). The basic idea is to activate the innovation forces in all of the lawyers in the firm, not only the leaders/partners. This requires a completely different methodology than normally, especially for the partners who must restrict themselves and delegate a lot.

The three sub-projects presented were:
• “Hulgaard Tax Team”, a project which will shortly be joined by PNP also with the result that we get a specialised tax law group. Responsible: Lars Lauge Nielsen, Kolding, (32 years)
• “Rent a lawyer” is a special programme developed for companies who normally have in-house counsel who in certain situations lacks capacity or companies whose in house lawyer leaves for another position. PNP has a similar program and has a lawyer stationed in-house in Poznan as a test case. Responsible Kristine Wagner, Kolding, (31 years).
• “The Labour Law Team” coordinating and developing expertise on an international level. PNP has been in this project from the beginning. Now also Swedish and Latvian specialist colleagues are joining in. Responsible Mikkel T. Jørgensen, Kolding (29 years).
