Skanska Property Poland: Changes in Skanska Property Poland and Skanska Infrastructure Development
4-03-2014Katarzyna Zawodna will become President of Skanska Property Poland as of March 1, 2014. She succeeds Waldemar Olbryk, who joins Skanska Infrastructure Development as Senior Vice President Business Development in Poland.
Katarzyna Zawodna will lead Skanska’s commercial property development business in Poland and will be responsible for project development, leasing, asset management and divestment. In her previous position as Regional Director of Region North in Skanska Property Poland and a member of the Management Team she was responsible for the strategy and development of office projects in the Northern Poland. Katarzyna successfully managed numerous transactions from land acquisitions to divestments. Prior to that Katarzyna was Green Business Manager, introducing sustainability standards to the Polish market. Katarzyna graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics. She also holds an international title of LEED Accredited Professional.

As of March 1, Waldemar Olbryk takes on the position as Senior Vice President, Skanska Infrastructure Development, responsible for Poland. In this role, he will focus on developing the business of Skanska ID in Poland, by initiating infrastructure projects carried out at a regional and municipality level, largely based on the PPP model. Waldemar Olbryk joined Skanska in 2008 as Regional Director. In 2011 he was the first Polish native President of Skanska Property Poland. Waldemar holds a degree in economics from the University of Łódź, as well as a joint MBA degree from the University of Łódź and College of Maryland. He also holds the title of Professional Project Manager awarded by the Project Management Institute.
