Tenth edition of the IKEA campaign "1 euro is a fortune - Soft toys for education" has already started.

Every year before Christmas IKEA, by implementing the campaign "1 euro is a fortune - Soft toys for education", supports educational programs, UNICEF and Save the Children for children in developing countries.

IKEA in Poland also encourages its customers to transfer purchased soft toys to children living under the care of a variety of local NGOs.

On the 4th of November, began the tenth edition of the IKEA campaign "1 euro is a fortune - Stuffed animals for education," which will run until 29 December 2012. For every purchased at this time in the shops of plush mascot or a book for children, the IKEA Foundation will provide € 1 educational programs conducted around the world by organizations UNICEF and Save the Children. As part of last year's IKEA Foundation has collected a record amount of 12.4 million euros, of which 281 875 euro in Poland.

IKEA Foundation has been worked with organizations, UNICEF and Save the Children for many years. Since the launch of the campaign "1 euro is a fortune - Stuffed animals for Education" in 2003, the IKEA Foundation has already collected 47.5 million euro, helping eight million children in over 40 countries around the world in getting a good education. The funds raised under this year's edition will be transferred mainly to improve the quality of education of poor children in developing countries.
