The Finnish Embassy and Dom Kultury Rembertów organize in honour of the Midsummer a traditional Finnish dancing event - lavatanssit.

The program includes according to tradition tango, humppa and jenkka and the secrets of Finnish tango can be studied under the tutorship of Elina Nurminen, Finnish language teacher at the Warsaw University. The event features and the dance music is provided by "Mosaic Quintet", a band that has toured dancing venues across Finland during many summers and hence offers the genuine beat!

Refreshments and traditional Finnish food prepared at the venue such as karjalanpiirakka (Karelian pierogi), lihapullat (meat balls), puolukkkahillo (lingonberry), kanelipullat (cinnamon buns), lettuja (pancakes) and sima (mead) can also be purchased and enjoyed during the event.
